This Wednesday, October 18, at 1:30 p.m., the ‘Gastronomic Week of Extremadura’ is presented at El Corte Inglés in Badajoz. A land that conquers palates’. The shopping center chain carries out this cycle in restaurants and Platos Prepared departments nationwide from October 16 to November 5.
During this gastronomic week, great Extremaduran gastronomic treasures will be showcased, full of such delicious jewels as Torta del Casar, paprika from La Vera, jams made with cherries from the Jerte Valley, wines and products from the pasture. “All these delicacies are the result of the perfect combination of tradition, biodiversity and sustainability, which only this land can give: Extremadura,” says El Corte Inglés in a press release.
The presentation event in Badajoz will be attended by the mayor, Ignacio Gragera Barrera, the Minister of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation of the Board, Guillermo Santamaría Galdón, the general secretary of Business, Economy and Commerce, Víctor Píriz Maya; the general director of Extremadura Avante, Miguel Ángel Mendiano Calle; and the Councilor for Human Resources, Commerce and Markets, Eladio Buzo Corzo.
