Jesús Gil Manzano will referee the group stage match of the first day of the UEFA Champions League between Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund at the Parc des Princes this Tuesday, September 19, at 9 p.m.
The Dombenite referee will be assisted by Diego Barbero and Ángel Nevado. José Luis Munuera will be the fourth official and Juan Martínez Munuera will referee the VAR.
It will be the first day of European competition without the previous phase in which Gil Manzano already directed the match between AEK Atenas and Royal Antwerp.
Last year, the Extremaduran referee officiated six Champions League matches, three in the group stage, one in the round of 16 and another in the quarterfinals, in addition to one of the semi-final matches, AC Milan – Inter.
